AJAMSONIC sounds and styles and sounds are tailored toward American/Western music.
KETRON Italy styles are designed more for the European market. Your audiences will be amazed at the high
quality and the familiarity of the sounds you play for them.
With AJAMSONIC styles and sounds backing you up,
you’ll fall in love with music all over again.
AJAMSONIC styles and sounds Give You A Professional Band With
Authentic Instrument Sounds To Play Right Along With You
AJAMSONIC’s Live Audio Drums and Guitars are played by artists from the specific area of the world known for that style
of music. For example, Zouk drums are played by a drummer from Guadeloupe. Country rhythms are played by Dolly
Parton's former drummer. The Reggae style is played by the late Bob Marley’s drummer. You’ll be playing with gold standard
authenticity like we said: All day. All night. All year.
AJAMSONIC sounds have remarkable ARTICULATION:
Articulation is the instrument’s natural characteristics like the valves of a sax opening and closing, the human
breath of a sax player, the sounds of the reeds in accordions, and overtones played by a real piano, etc.
AJAMSONIC styles and sounds are more modern.
They reproduce famous American and international tunes much better, especially genres like Latin, Funk, Caribbean,
Blues, Soul, RnB, Country, Dance, Hip Hop, and Jazz Standards.
AJAMSONIC’s programming technique makes styles and sounds much less redundant. Most of them are a
whopping 16 - 24 measures long. That’s 1/2 to 2/3 of a song without ever sounding the same! Our advanced
programing takes full, intelligent advantage of a style’s DNA. For example, when you play a major chord and change
it to a minor chord, the style doesn’t just go from point A to point B in a straight line. That yesteryear, predictable
playback is downright monotonous, isn’t it?
INSTEAD, our styles and sounds add transition notes and “licks” that are second nature for musicians. You’ll
hear glissandos, arpeggios, passing notes, passing CHORDS, guitar and bass finger slides, a horn player run a
slick scale into the next chord, and other intricacies the way you’d hear them played live downtown.
But it gets even better. On the 2nd, 3rd, and subsequent passes, the arranger triggers different drum snare and
bass notes (slap but then no slap next time), etc. So even when the style is repeated (16-24 bars later), it sounds
different every other time after the first one! Also, if you play the chord hard or soft, other elements like guitar
strum or a louder snare hit can be achieved.
AJAMSONIC has a wide variety of intros and endings. The intros and endings are programmed with familiar,
signature phrases, chord progressions, and drum patterns that do their thing, but resolve into familiar tunes. And,
they work perfectly for virtually all songs in the same genre.

VCE (Voice Character Emulation) was developed through
a collaboration between AJAMSONIC and KETRON.
All modern electronic keyboards play good sampled sounds
when a key is pressed down. The sound is turned off when
the key is released. However, certain instrument sounds
such as woodwinds or guitars require more complex
technology to produce the sounds faithfully and
authentically. Sampling these particular sounds is not
enough to convince players and audiences that they are

hearing a good representation of the “real thing” they’ve always seen and heard live. A real guitar produces fret
noises, plucking sounds from each string, body taps, bends, etc. Listening to a sax player up close, you will hear a
breath sound as he blows into his instrument, the sounds of the valves opening and closing over holes, bends, etc.
All of this cannot be faithfully reproduced by just sampling.
Other manufacturers have attempted to create nuances to woodwind and guitar sounds by having the user press a
separate button to produce the desired articulation. However, the VCE-2 has set a new standard with our VCE-2
technology. The complex articulation of these instruments is easily triggered and controlled based on how you play,
such as playing softly, hard, holding down a note for more than a second, releasing a note quickly or slowly, etc.
The AJAMSONIC styles and sounds use your unique style of play to bring out the authentic characteristics of the
instruments. Our proprietary technology and your playing skills create a realism not found on other keyboards.
These new, highly expressive voices can be used as solo voices, together with STYLES/PATTERNS, or in your
sequences. True instrument Articulation has been developed with tremendous research, time, and attention to
detail in the AJAMSONIC styles and sounds packages.
