I would unanimously declare the Technical and Product service I continue to receive from AJAM Inc. is a SIX (& higher). Let me explain: I purchased a MidJay Plus to use on-stage for my Backing Tracks. However, that device is extremely intricate and complicated... i spend COUNTLESS hours on the phone with tech support to understand, resolve and exploit my MidJay investment to it's fullest potential... The technicians were patient and EXTREMELY KNOWLEDGEABLE about their product(s). At times, they even conducted additional research (and got back to me) with their recommendation and suggestions. As a former Systems Analyst, The TIME and attention they willingly provided to make sure i was satisfied with my purchase, PAID and succeeded the COST of the equipment alone!!! Additionally, since so many would ask about my backing tracks (created with the MIDJAY Plus) I turned other musicians onto the KETRON brand of instruments. I.e., The Westside Cultural Center in New York City... They are the annual Producers of ECOFEST in Times Square, and Taste of Broadway (which I am a regular performer on the shows). The Cultural Center rewards 2000 children, twice a year, to attend their shows for having outstanding school attendance... The show format features a KEYBOARDIST who accompanies several Broadway Stars (from 5-6 of the top shows). i have been informed that AJAM Inc. actually volunteered to supply the production with their GP-1 Stage Piano -- AT NO COST!!! We have never met. Ours is strictly a business arrangement. Before I rate AJ, let me take a minute to discuss how I know of him. He was always helpful and shared his love and knowledge of the instruments with everyone and anyone who asked for his help. Before he started his business I already knew him as someone who I trusted. It was all he promised, and my instrument was indeed improved, and I loved it. Unfortunately, many companies and dealers do not provide this any longer and so when I purchased my first KETRON product (AUDYA), I initially asked myself what was I getting into again? Yamaha support read the manual to me over the phone .... after a 45 minute hold when I needed help with my Tyros 5. Korg no longer seem to have enough staff for product support which is the main reason I got rid of the Pa3X and decided to give KETRON a chance. I have never met a product specialist who knows their products inside out, but better still, knows how to help others understand their products (I did a little digging on Mr. Alemanji and found out that he happens to also be one of the Engineers working with KETRON). We may all learn how to teach but not all of us can become real teachers. The folks at AJAM Inc have always been there for my husband and I, promptly responding to phone calls, emails and yes, even text messages with detailed explanation of how to, when to ... and going way above and beyond what our issues were to begin with. As for the KETRON products, the demos on the website do not do these units much justice. You have to hear them in person. I called my accordion repair technician, he said the problem was not in the accordion but in the X4 and he suggested I call Ketron. I called Keytron this morning, a gentleman answered, as I was explaining the problem I heard a child in the background he said it was his day off. For about 10 minutes he had me pressing various keys and I would read the text on the screen to him.
